   Yesterday I made this lovely dress from a vintage pattern I found recently on Etsy. I hemmed it today and then made savageblackout take some pics of me wearing it in which I thought my face was captured at the wrong angle, so then I proceeded to take several a GPOYs like every other faithful tumblrer does, because apparently “wrong angle” is nothing more than an absence of my elbow crookedly holding a cell phone in the shot. yes that is my bathroom in the background and yes I cleaned it up a little for this photo and yes my mirror is propped up on a plastic box containing nail polishes.
   I have little experience with vintage patterns (this is one of my first) and DAMN they sure do leave a lot of instructions out! You kind of just need to pay attention to the basics in the pattern and use your common sensefor the rest. Anyways, I have about a thousand projects started right now and my head seems everywhere and nowhere at the same time as savageblackout and I teeter on the brink of this UNDEFINED transition, and the only peace I could think of yesterday was to make a dress, from start to finish, other projects be damned. 
   Clothing is my xanax.
